Hiree.com: Speeds up hiring process using smart tech

BANGALORE, INDIA: With 15 years of experience the founders of Hiree.comManjunath Talwar and Abhijit Khasnis ex-employees of Yahoo realized the challenges of hiring with the inevitable roadblocks and decided to change the rules and bring an easy smart way which simplifies the tedious process.

“Recruiters had no way to find candidates who are serving their notice period. So the process turned out to be longer as you need to find a readily available candidate. That was the intention to launch Mynoticeperiod which made the search easier to increase the spree of hiring and as we progressed we had to enhance the efficiency of the portal and so we re-branded it to hiree.com. Having 50 mn users where majority are passive users, is a major challenge which had to be solved,” said Manjunath Talwar, founder, Hiree.com

Hiree.com’s platform ensures to include only active users who are in the lookout of a job. The users are segregated in three sets:

1. Are serving notice period
2. Currently available to join
3. Actively looking out for a change

Each profile is checked and revised. After one’s notice period is over, the profile is removed. All the other profiles too are active only for 90 days or can be deactivated by the users before that. But, if the user has not found a desired job, one can always reactivate his profile after the 90 days tenure. This tactic ensures to have only active users on the platform.

“This platform ensures that the HR receives at least one candidate who will be interested, although it does not guarantee that the offer will be acceptable as many parameters are involved but it definitely helps the HR to shortlist the right people. This solves the problem for both the job seeker as well as the HR,” said Abhijit Khasnis, co-founder, COO, Hiree.com.

The portal differentiates itself in the clutter by listing only verified job seekers and it is ensured through the company’s call center. Secondly, the recruiter also reviews the profile. If the reviews are consistently negative, the profile of the job seeker is removed instantly ensuring verification.

The company has also enhanced its platform with big data and analytics a pending patented technology which powers the search ranking, based on relevant factors. The search ranking scores the candidates on relevant factors and gives a rating accordingly.

The platform also provides an Android app to the recruiters. All the calls and scheduling can be done on mobile while on the move and through notifications the HR can connect with the candidate right away.

“These enhancements are reflecting good quality and generating better results in the search. We give candidates a significant advantage providing them with faster way to find jobs, ” added Abhijit Khasnis.

“If an individual takes too long to find a relevant job, it will be vivid that he either needs to re-set his skills, improvise or may be change location.”

The company had been adding 7000-8000 users on the platform but after re-branding the number has accelerated and the portal has been adding upto 50,000 every month. 50pc of the job seekers are IT professionals and other are from the BFSI sector, retail etc.

The hiring platform has recruiters like TaxiForSure, Microsoft, HCL, Wipro, Deloitte etc. The platform works on subscription based and the recruiters can subscribe for six months or annual and pay for the web and mobile access.

The company plans to achieve a 15x growth by the end of the fiscal year and plans to grow the team to meet the expected growth.
