Hey, Foxconn's Taiwanese Datacenter has just gone virtual

In a bid to strengthen their presence in the cloud platform space, NEC and Foxconn Technology Group have entered into a data center business partnership.

MUMBAI, INDIA: In a bid to strengthen their presence in the cloud platform space, NEC and Foxconn Technology Group have entered into a data center business partnership.

Under the partnership, NEC will deploy its software-defined networking solutions including its UNIVERGE PF series, and the MasterScope data center operation and management tool to support Foxconn in building its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform at the Foxconn Kaohsiung data center.
