Hpsetool allows you choose a secure password and encrypt logical drives on your removable and fixed disks. It uses 256-bit AES algorithm for maximum security and does not store your password on any media. Its powerful encryption ensures that only you can open an encrypted logical drive.

Hpsetool supplies two types of lock. Gold lock encrypts every data-bit, can gain very strong data protection. Silver lock encrypts partition information and file-system data, can gain a strong data protection and more fast, generally, only few seconds for encrypting a 100GB drive.

Hpsetool can automatically detect operating system, drive, and file-system type. You don't need to know any particular knowledge. If your removable disk has more than one partition, you can install Hpsetool on one of the partitions and leave it un-encrypted, so that you can take it to anywhere for encrypting and decrypting.

More features on Hpsetool include auto-runnable on removable disk, validating password using SHA-256 algorithm, encrypting and decrypting drive in the background, undo an action at any moment, verifying drive before encrypting, drives plug-play support, etc.

Hpsetool 3.0 can run under Windows Vista/2003/XP/2000 and support all Windows file systems: NTFS, Fat32, Fat16, Fat12.
