The number of electronic devices in a household is increasing by the day. With this, maintaining devices is becoming increasingly difficult for the consumers as there is a lack of transparency in pricing and reliability of repair services. The segment is highly unorganized and fragmented, with customers being forced to choose between expensive services at authorized centres and unreliable services from unorganized, mom-and- pop stores.

It was this blank that led to the inception of Helpforsure- a transparent, tech-driven platform that leverages technology to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance for electronic and home devices. Helpforsure, the brainchild of three entrepreneurs-Rajesh Bhatia, Kusum Shukla Bhatia and Utkarsh Gupta ensures that the users get high-quality services, at best price, without running from pillars to posts.

Helpforsure has already created a name for itself in the electronic repair space that includes smartphones, laptops and home appliances such as refrigerators, AC's and LED televisions. The company plans to source quality parts and deliver them to the consumers directly. The supply chain benefit will be passed on to the customers.

They plan to move 30 percent of its repairs through an online medium using Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Chatbots. "This is the future of repair, and we want to be the first few to use technology to solve issues. We also plan to file a few patents in this niche area," says Ms Kusum Bhatia, co-founder, Helpforsure.

Helpforsure has made consistent growth in this sector through its technology-based approach and customer-centric offering. Utkarsh Gupta says that "We are currently operational in Bangalore and planning to expand in Chennai, Mumbai and NCR after the complete concept validation, and are seeking active funding in another 2 months".

The platform has witnessed 30 percent growth on a monthly basis and is expected to touch 500 repair transactions over the next 2 months.
