Headless BlackBerry finally gets India MD

MUMBAI, INDIA: Headless BlackBerry has a new India MD.

The company which was headless for about three months has announced the appointment of Narendra Nayak as new MD.

At BlackBerry, Nayak will be chiefly responsible to increase the dwindling market share of its smart phones including the Android-powered BlackBerry Priv slider, as well as the BB10 servers.

Besides the product focus, he will also be responsible to up the ante of the BlackBerry India team, which is a shadow of its former self, with massive gaps in sales, distribution, marketing & communications, customer service and more.

Nayak comes with 30 plus years of experience in the information technology and telecom industries.
