HCM deepened with Best Practices packages by SAP

MUMBAI, INDIA: SAP SE has announced SAP Best Practices packages that it claims will simplify deployments of SuccessFactors HCM Suite and further its commitment to simplifying customer journeys into the cloud.

Customers can now accelerate their cloud projects as they take advantage of pre-conceived business scenarios, the announcement said. The company states that these SAP Best Practices are based on pre-configured content for cloud solutions from SAP, such as solutions from SAP companies SuccessFactors and Ariba or the SAP Cloud for Customer solution.

As per the company, they complement other SAP Best Practices for on-premise solutions both being incorporated into SAP’s new learning format, the openSAP platform, and packaged into SAP Rapid Deployment solutions, which simplify the customer experience of deploying new enterprise solutions and onboarding to the cloud with dramatically accelerated time to value at a reduced cost.

SAP explained that while companies are recognizing the high value of cloud solutions for their human resources (HR) processes, and appreciate the scalability and built-in innovations of SuccessFactors solutions; many also struggle to integrate their existing HR systems with the cloud, and require support in on-boarding to the cloud, or in transitioning from on-premise installations into the cloud.

Many customers express a need for hybrid scenarios,” said Elvira Wallis, senior vice president, Solution and Knowledge Packaging, SAP. “By integrating SuccessFactors HCM Suite, SAP Best Practices and rapid-deployment solutions capabilities, we are able to provide our customers with a flexible set of solutions for their hybrid business processes that is time efficient and easy to use.”
