Future Group, that has stores in over 240 cities across India and employs more than 43,000 people directly, wanted to cope with an expanding business that will have to be even more responsive to an ever-growing number of new and existing employees. It will roll out Infor’s HCM suite comprising natively-developed functionalities and acquired applications for requirements such as new-hire on-boarding, off-boarding, employee rewards management, payroll, time and attendance, scheduling, absence management, compensation management, goal-setting, learning management, advanced pre-hiring assessment, and elements of core HR.

The company states that Infor will provide Future Group with a broad toolset of industry-specific applications with flexible deployment options that help fit their business and technology strategy - from workforce management, to training, and to talent science.

“Human Capital Management is an integral part of the organizational strategy, capable of driving better business performance by enabling the People Office function and employees alike. Our expectation is for a technology solution that will meet our workforce needs today and also adapt rapidly to future requirements. We believe that Infor’s HCM solution can create this value for our organization,” said Rakesh Biyani, Joint Managing Director, Future Retail Ltd.

“We are excited to enable the HR function of one of the leading retail groups in India. We understand that in a dynamic and competitive consumer landscape, companies need to have a technology platform that is robust enough to help recruit, retain, and advance the right team members. This should happen while simultaneously providing critical data that will help contribute to a well-rounded talent management strategy”, said Ashish Dass, Vice President & Managing Director, South Asian Subcontinent, Infor India.

The solution is expected to go-live in the next six months.
