HCL ME reaches mkt through Homeshop18

MUMBAI, INDIA: After iPhone 4 and iPad 2, HomeShop18, India's home shopping channel, has now reached the markets HCL's tablet HCL ME AE7.

The Froyo Android-powered tablet with 0.3 mega pixel in-built camera will be available at www.homeshop18.com and HomeShop18’s 24 hour home shopping channel for Rs. 10,990, said a press release.

It features MapmyIndia service, 2 GB SD Card, gravity sensor, 3.5mm audio port, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth 2.0, support for EVDO USB dongle and 2400mAh Li-polymer battery.

HCL ME has a 7-inch resistive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 480 pixel resolution, ARM 11 800Mhz processor, 256MB DDR2 RAM, 2GB Flash memory and has expandable memory of up to 8GB, the release added.
