HCL Info Q4 net up 11 p.c. YoY

NEW DELHI, INDIA: India's IT firm HCL Infosystems today said that its consolidated net profit grew 11.27 percent to Rs 67.23 crore for the quarter ended 30 June as against Rs 60.42 crore net reported in the April-June quarter a year ago. For the year ended 30 June, the company's consolidated net profit increased 1.01 percent to Rs 242.38 crore as against Rs 239.95 crore it posted in the previous fiscal.

It said in a statement that income from operations increased three percent to Rs 3,204.86 crore in the June quarter from Rs 3,106.33 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

HCL Infosystems has proposed a final dividend of Rs 2 per share for the year ended 30 June 2010. During the year, the company had paid three interim dividends aggregating to Rs5.50 per share.
