HackerRank is a technical talent community for developers to hone their skills and for companies to hire tech talent. With the help of this platform you can complete the process of sourcing, screening as well as your interviews.

The platform helps in two different ways. Firstly it helps enterprises to find the right people to do the right job.  It has also developed a tech community that helps the programmers enhance and develop their skills better.

Addressing the meet Harishankaran K, co-founder of HackerRank said,“Only 10 years ago, 90 percent of companies would go to campus with the intention of conducting a pen-and-paper coding test. However, now the trend has reversed and only 10% of companies visiting campuses follow the old method. The rest have adopted technology to optimize the process, with online platforms like HackerRank being used widely, companies now have the liberty to recruit coding gems from remote colleges as well, which a company may have rejected due to logistics constraints."

Anuja Sivaram, head-operations, CodeNation, said:"HackerRank has helped us maximise our reach in a very short time. We work with a license model which is 12 month subscription. We also sponsor contests where students participate and solve different levels of difficulty. Through the platform, thanks to which our campus hiring now runs super smooth, has increased our reach to the computer science students tremendously and hence much more scalable."

The company has an impressive list of over 1000 customers including the e-commerce giants, Target, Adobe etc.

"We have  a million registered programmers today, the highest being from USA and India.  Through 33 programming languages we asses the programmers today. We are bringing in more enhancements and introducing more verticals," said Sriram, head of product, HackerRank.

"We are right now expanding in Delhi and Mumbai and will also double our hiring in Bangalore this year. Currently we are a team of 120 but this this year will be a major boom," he added.
