GTL Q1 net profit up 74%

NEW DELHI: GTL Ltd has posted a 73.87 percent increase in net profit to Rs 43.19 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 24.84 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2003.

Total income has increased by 10.7 percent from Rs 141.49 crore in the JQ-03 to Rs 156.64 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2004.

The group doubled its net profit to Rs 45.99 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 22.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2003.

Total income has increased from Rs 164.07 crore in the JQ-03 to Rs 190.85 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2004.
