Grocer's basket adds iOS, Android mobile apps

TORONTO: Mercatus Technologies today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Sprouts Farmers Market to implement their digital strategy.

Sprouts is a value-priced, specialty retailer of fresh, natural and organic food. By leveraging Mercatus' digital grocery expertise and by building omni channel programs on the Mercatus Integrated Commerce Platform, Sprouts will deliver exceptional digital experiences to their customers, as is shared in the announcement.

By year-end, Mercatus will help Sprouts re-launch iOS and Android mobile apps and a website that responsively adapts to any web-ready device (e.g. desktop, smartphone, tablet). Customers will gain access to features such as the weekly ad, shopping lists, recipes, digital coupons and more. Online ordering will be introduced for holiday special orders. Powered by the Mercatus Platform, Sprouts will deliver a consistent brand experience across all marketing channels.

Sprouts, claimed as a forward-thinking grocer, adds that it understands the importance of leveraging technology to improve the shopping experience, sought a scalable, flexible and future-ready digital engagement solution that would grow with them.
