Govt. will issue e-certificates to NCVT and ITI passouts

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Pass-outs from various National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) courses including Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) pass outs will now be able to get e-certificates from the the Directorate General of Employment & Training's (DGE&T) newly launched website, www.ncvtmis.gov.in.

This self-service digital platform will help about 10 lakh candidates in India who takes admission across 11,000+ITIs under the Craftsmen Training Scheme.

The candidates will get e-certificates from the portal on successfully completing their semester examinations, drastically reducing the turnaround time in receiving the certificate.

The first phase of the portal has been launched streamlining the examination process of institutes under the purview of NCVT.

The portal will also provide information on the institutions, courses offered and their uptake statistics, number of seats available, examination calendars, digitizing various schemes by DGE&T, etc.

The employers will also be able to validate these certificates directly using the portal through QR code with no need of any paperwork.
