Google introduces new mobile UI for recipe search

Google is always working on new things to make its user experience better. This new UI was spotted by Alex Chitu of the Google Operating System unofficial blog. He posted screenshots of the new interface taking 'avocado mayo' as an example.

He says, when selecting a related search, you get a completely different interface that only shows recipes: bigger expandable cards, bigger thumbnails, infinite scrolling. The earlier search used to just give us recipes for the food being searched for. Now with the improved interface Google also provides us with search suggestions - such as salad, sandwich.

So, when Alex searched for avocado mayo, he was given a long list of keywords below the search box and ads: salad, chicken, shrimp, vegan, bacon and more. In order to refine your research you can select more than one keyword and explore a whole new world of recipes.

Earlier in September 2016, Google had worked on its interface to refine the shopping experience. However, this feature has only been introduced on mobile and not yet introduced in India. Let's wait and watch.
