Google's Doodle For Dr BR Ambedkar

MUMBAI, INDIA: To mark the 124th birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian constitution, Google has released a doodle tribute for Dr BR Ambedkar.

It must be mentioned here that Google releases interactive doodles matching special ocasions. Today's doodle shows a picture of Dr Ambedkar at the centre of its logo.

Born on April 14, 1891, Ambedkar was Independent India's first law minister, who also inspired the Modern Buddhist Movement. The principal architect of the Constitution of India, he also campaigned against social discrimination against Dalits, women and labour.

For his numerous contributions, Ambedkar was posthumously conferred with the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award.
