While every major smartphone manufacturer is adding features like dual camera and FullVision display to its flagship this year, looks like Google believes its Pixel brand is better sans these increasingly common flagship features.

An image of Google Pixel follow-up, codenamed Walleye was recently shared by VentureBeat's Evan Blass that indicates that Google isn't doing away with bezels just as yet.

That's not all, Blass also points out that Pixel duo won't have any dual camera either which surely looks odd given the current trend of dual optics featuring in almost all flagship devices from Apple iPhone 7 Plus to LG G6 to OnePlus 5 and rumored Samsung Note8.

Well, one reason for this could be Pixel's best in class image-processing algorithms which it doesn't want to jeopardize with the dual camera system.

Interestingly, while Google has decided not to tow the line for 'common' features, it is following the lead of other phone manufacturers for a rather controversial omission. Yes, you guessed it right.  Like Apple, HTC, and Lenovo, Google is also said to do away with 3.5-millimeter headphone jack in its upcoming Pixel series.
