Google lets you edit business listings from the Search itself

Google is introducing a new feature that lets you edit business listings directly from the Google Search engine. The feature which was in the beta testing until July 2017 is now officially rolling out.

Google says all you have to do is find your Business listing on Google Search, and "you can complete and enhance your listing, share photos and posts related to your business, and see how many views you’re getting." After you find your business in search, you should see a new menu right above the search results. If you’re not seeing the menu, make sure you’re logged in with the account credentials that have ownership of your Google My Business account. Then click the edit button and the fields you can edit will be highlighted for you.

Here's a list of things you can do from the Search engine-

- Add or correct business information, post updated hours, and more.

- Quickly take the most important actions to complete and enhance your business listing.

In addition to allowing the business owner to add and edit the information, the dashboard also displays how many profile views the listing has had. The feature is available for both desktop and mobile.
