Google to launch Android Lab

BANGALORE, INDIA: Google, recently announced that they are going to launch an Android Lab at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on Wednesday, February 17th.

The launch would be a part of their App Planet, an event within MWC, which covers the various dimensions of the dynamic and critically important mobile applications market.

As posted on their blog, the session would consist of technical presentations, which would introduce some of the basic concepts involved in Android application development. The event would also have an developer lounge, where the developers could get a chance to interact with the Android team members and other developer community.

“Whether you’re already developing Android apps, you're an experienced mobile developer, or you’re considering making your ?rst foray into writing mobile applications, the Android Developer Lab will provide access to the resources you need to create innovative and compelling apps for the Android platform,” said the blog post by Eric Chu, Android Mobile Platform.

Google is also offering limited number of complimentary passes for this event.
