One of the most important features of the updated Dashboard is the improved functionality on the touchscreens, making it easier to navigate on any device including smartphones. Downloading user data from the Dashboard will also be easier now. "We also worked to make it easier to see an overview of the Google products you use and your data in each of them," Google product manager Greg Fair, said.

“As we built new tools like My Account and My Activity, it became clear that we needed to better integrate Dashboard into our other privacy controls,” added Fair. “It should always be easy for you to make meaningful decisions about your data — and we decided we could do better.” You can currently move your data to OneDrive and Dropbox, but Fair said that it will soon allow exporting directly to Box as well.

The new and updated Google Dashboard will be available to users in the next week.
