Google Asus Nexus tablet to come in June

BANGALORE, INDIA: The Nexus 7-inch tablet jointly developed by Google and Asus will be shipped to India in June, according to Digitimes.

Six lakh units of the Nexus table are reportedly going to be shipped next month.

The Nexus tablet's 7-inch display is the highlight of the tablet. Google had reportedly aimed at launching the tablet in May, but due to various cost and design issues, it now plans to launch it in June this year.

The next offering from Google is the Asus Memo Pad 370T which is going to run on the latest Android Ice-Cream Sandwich (ICS)  operating system. Taking a cue from this, various other manufacturers such as Asus and Acer are also planned on introducing the 7-inch Android ICS tablets.
