The funds will be used by CSS to make additional investments in its global delivery infrastructure, recruitment and training, to expand sales and marketing, and to pursue strategic acquisitions that further the company’s mission of helping its customers drive technology adoption, CSS said in a statement.

Shiva Ramani, CEO and co-founder of CSS, said, “CSS is delighted to have the world’s leading investment bank as an investor. Their decision to invest in CSS is a testament to the capabilities of our people and the robustness of our global delivery methodology, and reflects the potential for growth in the market segments we target.”

“The outsourcing environment looks positive. Our existing clients have ramped up nicely, both in terms of revenues as well as expanding their business across our breadth of offerings. We are particularly bullish on our IM offerings, which has gathered momentum over the last one year,” Ramani added.

CSS employs close to 5,000 professionals and has offices in the US, Europe and Asia, including offshore delivery centers in Chennai and Coimbatore, India.
