The new architecture will be presided over by a Cyber Security Coordinator.

National Cyber Security Framework and National Cyber Security Policy have been approved by the Union Cabinet and the Cabinet Committee on Security. The new Cyber Security Infrastructure will be based on a public private partnership model.

This infrastructure was established following attacks from state and non-state actors.

Substantial amount of data from Indians and private entities have been compromised by US recently. The government will work with ISPs to oversee metadata of India users. However, it will not mine the data. A Cyber security Board will be soon established.
