SCOTTSDALE,USA: GoDaddy, announced the launch of its latest suite of server offerings, including dedicated and virtual private servers with new levels of support, designed specifically for Web designers and developers. These customers have demanding clients and require fast, reliable Web hosting services with a quick set up, the ability for real-time changes and on-demand technical support.

Designed to meet the needs of the most ardent user, GoDaddy’s Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Dedicated Servers are powered by CentOS, Fedora or Windows and use cPanel or Plesk control panels. Each product comes in self-managed, managed or fully managed offerings, allowing users to pre-determine the level of support needed. Additionally, the new plans support features such as automated OS patching, staging, cloning, root access, backups and disaster recovery, plus other needs vital to the success of these technical customers.

To pair with the upgraded hosting products, GoDaddy enlisted the help of Media Temple, a premium Web hosting company GoDaddy acquired in October 2013, to create a specialized, highly technical team that will provide the level of support designers and developers need. Employees must be product certified, meaning they know how the product works inside and out, before they assist customers. This new level of support ensures customers needing assistance receive timely, knowledgeable and friendly assistance whenever they need it.

“Web developers and designers often manage more than one website at a time for multiple clients, therefore their needs differ from our general Web hosting customers,” said GoDaddy Senior Vice President and General Manager of Web Hosting, Jeff King. “Web developers and designers are critical to the success of GoDaddy. We are doing everything we can to learn about how to better meet their needs, as well as their client’s needs. These new products are a direct result of many conversations with our customers. We know there is a lot more work that needs to be done – this is just the beginning.”

The new products and services will be available on GoDaddy Pro, a new GoDaddy website specifically catered to tech-savvy developers and designers who need more detailed product information and even seek out different features like site staging tools or root access. There is also a streamlined check-out process to provide quick entry and exit, so the designer or developer can focus on what’s really important – their customers.
