GlobalLogic eyes emerging APAC markets

NEW DELHI: US-based global product development services company GlobalLogic is targeting the emerging Asia-Pacific market to set-up operations and to enhance its revenues.

Headquartered in Virginia, the company is keen on setting up operations in China within a year.

Rohit Sharma, director - Marketing, GlobalLogic, said that the China market is one of the potential markets for them. “We will set up a center in China within one year time frame. We are also starting operations in UK in the next 6 to 8 months time,” he informed.

Highlighting the roadmap, Sharma said that the company would be addressing the emerging Asia-Pacific markets, which according to him would boost its revenues.

He said that the good results from the firm’s India operations have encouraged them to look at the South-East Asian countries.

“We are also planning to set up our operations in Singapore. It is the right time to expand our operations across the APAC market. APAC countries are one of the preferred destinations for IT companies and India top our list,” Sharma added.
