Gitex 2013: Gemalto showcases innovative solutions

Mobile Commerce

Gemalto will present its LinqUs Mobile Wallet solutions which enable a range of NFC mobile contactless services, mobile banking, remote payment and loyalty programs, all integrated in a scalable and future-proof, convenient mobile wallet for enhanced end-user experience. The company will also show how to enhance mobile marketing with its Allynis Smart Message services to allow precise targeting of the right people at the right time, ensuring promotions are always relevant and well-received.

As a sponsor of the Digital Strategies Conference (Oct 23rd at 10:30am), Gemalto will be presenting the results of its latest Dubai survey, revealing the best practices for Middle Eastern brands and mobile operators to adopt mobile marketing as a real booster to their CRM strategy.

Gemalto is taking eID mobile, enabling secure access to eGovernment services and legally-binding digital signatures directly from mobile phones. Furthermore, with the Coesys eVerification solution, ID checks too are on the move, allowing officials to digitally check citizen identities on the go. Smartphones & tablets can be securely used for identity management, verification and identification tasks as well as document inspection.

The prospect of connecting billions of objects and devices to wireless networks is widely regarded as one of the most important area of service innovation in the digital age. Gemalto has some of the key ingredients in ensuring that the Internet of Things can deliver on its promise with reliable and trusted technology. M2M solutions on show will include an mHealth demo, which highlights the benefits of remote monitoring of patients' data such as blood pressure and sends the data directly via the cloud to care teams in a secure manner. Similarly, an eCall application fitted into cars can automatically alert the emergency services in case of an accident.

To help banks forge new relationships with their customers, and harness innovative technologies and tools that allow individuality to flourish, Gemalto will present its Allynis AllAboutMe solution which enables banks to offer their cardholders the versatility to create unique banking cards using their own photos or artwork. Our new cardholder mobile app, My Card Companion, brings an equally up close and personal touch for banks' customers, with a full suite of payment card services such as PIN reminder and credit balances. As for our Dexxis Instant Issuance solution, it offers issuers the possibility to deliver banking cards on the spot - in branches or even in shopping malls, making the most of signing up new cardholders quickly and taking card activation ease to a whole new level.
