Gitex 2013 opens in Dubai

DUBAI, USA: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, opened GITEX Technology Week today, marking the 33rd edition of one of the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) region's top information and communication technology (ICT) events.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, along with several dignitaries on the tour of the GITEX Technology Week opening.

His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General, Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre, organiser of GITEX, guided the VIP entourage on the opening tour.
