Get flirty real-time with Cogxio mobile app

BANGALORE, INDIA: An online dating startup Cogxio has gone all-mobile with the launch of its real time dating app in India.

Previously known as dateIITians, Cogxio was launched in September, 2014 as web platform and received incredible response in India but with increase in mobile penetration, Cogxio is now mobile only platform.

“At Cogxio platform, we have around 12,000 registered users, and we are registering 1200 daily registrations, with male and female ratio of 62:48 respectively,” told Layak Singh CEO and co-founder of , Cogxio. He also told that all the registered users have been transferred to the app.

The app helps in discovering new interesting people around, and enable instant interaction, sharing feelings and planning out together in real time. The app is available on Android Play Store as of now, and  is free, and will be free, said Singh.

Cogxio tracks and stores all data inputs about the user, and then with help of machine learning and data analytic approach provide the recommended real people. The startup, founded by IIT-Kharagpur engineers Layak Singh and Kinshuk Bairagi is in the talks with a few investors and is expecting to raise angel funding by August this year.

How Cogxio works

Users signup through their ‘Facebook’ credentials followed by a mobile verification, and then user is asked to verify their Identity with any government ID proof.

To ensure credibility of users, every user goes with stringent 4-step verification system and gives freedom to female users to control with whom they want to accept introduction or how many a day. This ensures that user do not get spam. Also, any user can report or block to the users whose profile seems inappropriate or creating trouble to anybody.

A user can then do following activities in real time mode with GPS technology:

Say Hi

Immediate interaction starts once after you send 140 Characters tweet about you to the person of your interest in your locality.

Zoom In 

The user can expand the radius of the locality to find more people around.

Similar Interests

The user can find how similar interests they both have together. This helps in taking decisions to interact the person nearby.

Express Crush

If users find interesting someone, can directly ‘express crush’, this crush is not visible to other user and once both user ‘express crush’ to each other, it is a ‘match’.

Real Time Communication

No wait or Pay before you talk, like others, Instant Communication with whom you love or like.

Bluetooth Technology

In case your internet goes off, but all the users around whose Bluetooth is ‘on’ you can even find them around without internet.

Introduce

If the user thinks that recommended match is potential match, then instead of waiting for ‘other user crush you back’, user can introduce him/her self in 140 characters. Once the ‘introduce’ is accepted by the potential match, both users can start ‘Interacting instantly’. One can also get introduced by his or her buddies or friends on the platform.
