The Fujitsu XG family of high-speed Layer 2 switching solutions offers superior throughput, ultra low latency, flexible interfaces and extremely low failure rates in a compact form factor, creating an ideal networking infrastructure for video server applications, high-performance computing and the Internet SCSI (iSCSI) and networked attached storage (NAS) markets.

The XG2600 enhances the Fujitsu XG product line by offering several new features. The use of SFP+ optical modules and support for SFP+ twinax copper cables enables customers to cost-effectively maximize the use of each available port and minimize the overall cost of energy and cabling.

The XG2600 also offers field-reversible cooling fans that reduce the overall cost of cooling. The low-power, 1U high form factor allows for easy integration into existing networks and system chassis, making it an ideal solution for energy and cost conscious customers.
