The free trial is aimed at independent software vendors (ISVs) and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and will be valid until 31 January 2012.

Craig Baty, executive general manager and chief technology officer, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, said “Since we went live with our cloud in September 2010 we have had a high level of interest from enterprise and government customers. We have introduced this trial offer as an added incentive that will appeal to smaller organisations such as ISVs and SMEs to drive the development and use of Australian applications. It will also allow organisations of all sizes to test the suitability of the cloud locally.

Over the next three months, organisations can access Fujitsu’s Cloud Platform, which includes infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), software-as-a-service (SaaS), and platform-as-a service (PaaS) hosted in Fujitsu’s Australian data centres, as part of a free two-month trial.

This permits organisations to try cloud before they buy and to experience the breadth of the solutions on offer at no charge or risk, says the company in a release.
