frog design, Aricent launch business unit

GURGAON, HARYANA: frog design and its parent company Aricent, technology and services company, today announced the launch of a new strategic business unit to enhance their existing joint innovation offering.

According to press release, combining frog's innovation and design expertise with Aricent's engineering capabilities, the Idea-to-Market unit will integrate frog's 550 IT technologists with Aricent's Mobile Devices and Solutions (MDS) and Experience Engineering (XE) groups, which are comprised of more than 1,000 software architects, developers, and quality assurance engineers.

The release further added, Aricent's Business Technology Consulting (BTC) group will also be part of the new unit. The integrated structure will enable creative and consulting teams based in the US, India, China, and Europe to work hand-in-hand with software delivery teams on product and service innovations across multiple industries.

Doreen Lorenzo, president of frog design, will take on additional responsibilities to lead this Idea-to-Market business unit as executive vice president and general manager of Aricent.

"Our experience has shown that a new kind of collaboration model is needed in order to create and commercialize products that deliver the world-class design and user experience that consumers today have come to expect," Ms. Lorenzo said. "The new business unit will strengthen our ability to help our clients consistently deliver this kind of innovation, while at the same time maximize operational efficiency, shorten time-to-market, and reduce overall product development lifecycle costs."
