Freescale completes acquisition of Intoto

BANGALORE, INDIA: Freescale Semiconductor has completed its purchase of privately held Intoto, Inc., a leading provider of software platform products for networking and communications equipment manufacturers. The transaction represents another milestone in Freescale’s strategy to deliver comprehensive solutions for its QorIQ communications platforms.

With this transaction, Freescale announces the appointment of former Intoto CEO Sathyan Iyengar as a vice president within the company’s Networking Systems Division.
