Four Soft wins contract from Midl Logistics BV

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Four Soft Limited, a provider in software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, announced on Tuesday that it has bagged a contract from Midl b.v. Integrated Logistics to implement its connectivity solution - 4S eConnect, to exchange order information between Midl and its customers.

Midl b.v. Integrated Logistics is a Netherlands based freight forwarding and third party (3PL) logistics company, with an established international network, covering various geographical locations.

Midl has been using Four Soft’s applications - 4S eTrans SME (freight forwarding application) and 4S eLog (warehouse management system) for quite some time now, said a press release.

Kees Dinnessen, managing director, Midl b.v. Integrated Logistics, said “We selected 4S eConnect to act as an interface between 4S eLog and SAP system being used by one of our customers, to aid exchange of data between these systems.”

He added that they are confident, by providing interface between these systems, they would be able to streamline our order management, enhance business productivity and provide quicker customer service. They hope to start using the new system by end of April 2009.

Richard Gralike, managing director, Four Soft Netherlands BV said, “This is our third contract with Midl and we are excited at the opportunity to partner with them once again. We have acquired rich experience by working with them closely on the earlier projects and earned their trust by implementing the software applications successfully.”

He further said that with this implementation, 4S will help Midl process the purchase orders of its customer, quickly and accurately.
