Four Soft signs deal with Noordex BV

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Four Soft Netherlands BV, a provider in software solutions for transportation and logistics verticals and a subsidiary of Four Soft Limited, India, announced on Tuesday that it has entered in to a contract with Noordex BV, to deploy its freight forwarding software, 4S eTrans SME, across Noordex BV’s multiple locations in the Netherlands.

Four Soft’s 4S eTrans SME is a freight forwarding application that has integrated multi-modal modules bundled in a single application, said a press release.

With the help of this application, the freight forwarders as well as their customers would be able to have end-to-end visibility of their shipments instantaneously, it added.

It also has features like single-time data entry, export and import document management, EDI interfaces with customs and multi-countries / multi-branch access.

“Owing to our staff’s busy schedules, we needed a system which has rich functionality, but at the same time, is easy to implement and process the shipments without much manual intervention and 4S eTrans SME fitted our requirement perfectly,” said Jacques van den Berg, president, Noordex BV, Rotterdam.

He said that the company is planning to start using the new system by March first week and said that the new system is expected to reduce the operating costs and speed up the turnaround time to process the shipment.
