Four Soft Q2 net up 4.84 p.c.

NEW DELHI: Four Soft Ltd (4S), a transportation and logistics software product company, has reported a 4.84 per cent growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 16.89 million compared to Rs 16.11 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company said in a statement reported a 265 % growth in consolidated revenues at Rs 174.54 million as compared to Rs 47.73 million in the year-ago quarter.

The consolidated revenues for the first half ended September 2005 surged 153.98 per cent to Rs 243.43 million compared to Rs 95.88 million in the corresponding period last year.

Consolidated net profit in the first half-year this year dipped 34.79 per cent to Rs. 26.83 million from Rs 41.15 million reported for the first-half ended September 2004.

4S had recently acquired DCS Transportation and Logistics Solutions division, a UK headquartered Transport & Logistics Software solutions major.
