Four Soft posts three fold rise in profits

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Four Soft, a provider in software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, today announced financial results for its quarter ended December 31, 2008.

The PAT grew to Rs.107 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, as compared to Rs. 36 million in the corresponding quarter last year, said a press release.

The revenues were reported at Rs. 476 million for the quarter ended as compared to Rs. 401 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company recorded Rs. 1,510 million in sales and a PBT of Rs. 583 million for the first nine months of the year against Rs. 1,290 million and Rs. 108 million respectively in corresponding period of last year, said the release.

“Four Soft is witnessing a strong growth in profits for last one year. Four Soft has started reaping benefits of acquisition synergies after successful integration,” said, Biju S Nair, CFO, Four Soft Ltd.

He further added that the company has consolidated its operations to bring in better operating margins supported by strong financial position. It added 7 customers in the last one year,added the release.
