Replying to a question as to what are the strategic advantages that Annik sees from this move, CEO and president of Annik, Rahul Sahgal said, “We are expecting a lot of strategic support from Roy and his team and I expect them to play an advisory and mentoring role to help us better our quality processes and scale up. Annik recorded $3.23 million revenue last year and we expect to grow significantly after this move.”

“With Roy buying a stake in our company we expect our credibility to increase with larger clients and it would also help us in attracting and retaining people better,” he added.

According to Sahgal, he and Roy share a similar vision. “We both believe in doing the best and focusing on clients. Money is of secondary importance to us. According to me one other reason of Roy acquiring stake in our company is that not many companies are there in this space like us and I believe Roy wanted to invest in a company which is growing.”
