FCI invites online applications for 6545 jobs

BANGALORE, INDIA: Food Corporation of India (FCI) is one of the largest supply chain management in Asia. The corporation currently has about 6545 vacancies in the Category-III division.

The official website of FCI mentions that recruitment will be held for the Assistant Grade-III (AG-III) posts in general, depot, accounts and technical cadres. Only online applications are being accepted for  the posts, and the last date for applying online is September 19.

According to the official website, the qualifications required are as follows:

1. For AG-III General: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

2. For AG-III Accounts: Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University.

3. For AG-III Technical: B.Sc. in agriculture or B.Sc. with any one of the following subjects botany/zoology/bio-technology/bio-chemistry/microbiology/food science or B.Tech./BE in food science/food science & technology/agricultural engineering/bio-technology.

4. For AG-III Depot:  Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University

The interested candidates must be proficient at the use of computers. The online applications can be obtained from http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in.

A maximum of one online application can be filled and the registration number of the online application must be either noted down or a hard copy in form of print-out must be taken.

After the submission of online applications a written exam will be held on November 11, based on which the candidates will be selected.
