The new Facebook update is available in more than 50 languages and is also working with 60 non-profit organizations including Childnet International, Connect Safely, and Family safety Online Institute, to make its tools easier to use to make its tools more widely available.

In a Facebook post introducing the updated Center, Facebook’s Head of Global Safety Antigone Davis said in a post, "The new version is now mobile-friendly — which makes sense, considering that in many countries mobile is the primary platform used to access the social network — and is now available in 50 different languages; along with more video to demonstrate how to use the controls that Facebook has on there."

The Safety Center also lets users find the Facebook's community standards, including in-depth tutorials on tools that help users control who sees their posts, and whose posts they see. There are also extensive resources, including specialized guides for women, survivors of abuse, military families.

Davis further said, "The update also brings our Bullying Prevention Hub to everyone on Facebook. The Hub is a resource for teens, parents, and educators seeking guidance on how to prevent and address bullying.”

The " target="_blank">Bullying Prevention Hub allows teens to find tools and resources in the case they have been bullied, have a friend who's been bullied or even if they've been called a bully. Parents and educators can also find specialized sections in the hub to help address bullying and curb harm before it begins.

“Our Community Standards and related policies aim to find the right balance between giving people a place to express themselves and promoting a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. They define what is and isn’t okay to share on Facebook. Our goal is to create an environment where we treat each other with empathy and respect,” Davis concluded.
