"We currently have a growing number of users in Poland and we look forward to making it even easier for them to connect and share information with family and friends with our translation application," said Matt Cohler, vice president of Product Management.

Current users who want to view Facebook in Polish can change their language preference from their account settings.

Anyone who logs into http://www.facebook.com from Poland will see the site in Polish. Over 450 Polish-speaking Facebook users chose to be part of the effort to translate the site from English to Polish.

Those who added the Facebook translation application were allowed to submit translations while browsing the site. The community then approved all translations through a voting system.

Facebook users can now also access the mobile site in their supported language through any mobile device with Web capabilities.
