Facebook brings anonymous chat app 'Rooms'

BANGALORE, INDIA: Facebook has come up with a new app, Rooms.  It lets you chat with your friends on the common topic and share things. A room is a feed of photos, videos, and text, with a topic determined by whoever created the room.

Inspired by both the ethos of these early web communities and the capabilities of modern smartphones, it lets you create places for the things you’re into, and invite others who are into them too, according to Facebook Creative Labs.

The Facebook blog post, also said, in 'Rooms' you can be “Wonder Woman” – or whatever name makes you feel most comfortable and proud. You can even create different identities for different contexts.

The app is currently available in US and Britain and only on iOS devices.
