F-5 launches BIG-IP software

BANGALORE: F5 Networks, a provider in application delivery networking services, today announced the launch of the new software, BIG-IP.

The software features comprehensive protocol security, WhiteHat Security integration through the F5 iControl API, and Kerberos delegation support, a release said.

This enhancement helps enterprises cut through the complexity of security by making it easy to implement advanced application and protocol security, the company said.

This BIG-IP software announcement complements the new BIG-IP Application Delivery Controller (ADC) platforms announced today.
