Extreme Networks channel partner program enhancements include the introduction of three partner levels, Platinum, Gold and Silver, a new partner loyalty rebate program, and a lead-generation program with accompanying market development.

With these channel program enhancements, Extreme Networks is further establishing itself in the Converged Enterprise and Carrier Ethernet markets, where the company focuses on delivering performance, simplicity and value to its customers.

Furthermore, Extreme Networks has also launched a Nortel trade-up program, letting customers and solution providers receive program discounts on Nortel product trade-ins when purchasing Extreme Networks solutions.

“India is a highly strategic growth market for Extreme Networks with a number of customer successes in the service provider, higher education, government, and hospitality markets,” said Jitendra Gupta, Country Manager—India and SAARC, Extreme Networks. “Our valuable channel relationships remain critical to our further success and Extreme Networks is offering program enhancements to partners that directly benefit their business models,” he added.

Extreme Networks has appointed Yamin Khan as National Channel and Distribution Manager for India & SAARC, who recently joined the company from Tyco Electronics’ AMP Net connect Division. Khan brings 11 years of experience in driving the sales through the channel and will assist the company in building channel partner networks across India. This will be supported by separate regional channel managers in the distributed geographies of the country, North, South, East and West.
