Exhibition on technology solutions for F&B sector

NEW DELHI: With changing lifestyles leading to a higher consumption of processed food and beverages in Indian metros, factors like hygiene, safety and quality management are increasingly coming under the spotlight. The 'ready to serve' concept is also gaining ground due to the proliferation of malls and supermarkets.

Key advances in technology, which make this possible will be showcased this week at 'Food and Bevtech 2006' between November 9 and 11, 2006 at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

The focused exhibition for this segment has received an overwhelming response with more then 150 companies displaying their technologies spread over an area of 6000 sqm.

India's first focused International-level event emphasizing on technology solutions, 'Food and Bev Tech 2006' is organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

The event will unveil technology innovations in a wide variety of sectors ranging from food & beverage, distillery & brewery, dairy, vegetable & fruit, meat & fish processing, bakery, sugar, edible oil processing and basic food.

In addition, packaging machineries and materials, containers, label, inkjet coding, printing, refrigeration & Cold room, laboratory analysis and checking devices and hygiene technology will also be showcased.
