Ex-Reliance and Mahindra Tech employee joins MissCallPay

MissCallPay, a voice-based payment solutions, has appointed Raju Wadalkar as an advisor for technology and telecom operations who previously worked for Reliance.

Raju has been credited as the person who brought Ambani’s telecom aspiration to a success. He is among the first employees of Reliance Industries in the newly formed telecom business unit.

He also worked closely with Anil Ambani to launch the low cost and high quality GSM and CDMA-based mobile networks in the country.

An engineering professional and IIT-B alumni, he brings in over 40 years of experience, Raju brings in extensive knowledge of operations and scalability of the telecom industry.

“I personally feel that voice will be the new de facto standard for payments in India as it is more secured as well as convenient than the mobile app based payments,” Raju said.

The appointment comes after MissCallPay wants Raju to make highly scalable and secure application which can handle multiple transactions at any given time without any technical glitches and issues.
