New Update

REDWOOD CITY, USA: The new iOS 7 is exactly the sort of thing that makes being an app developer so thrilling. It allowed us to let go, restart and build in a way that we haven't been able to do in years. The result: a completely, unbelievably, unexpectedly new Evernote.

It's clean and green, after paring away everything that felt unnecessary with the smartest and most space-efficient home screen ever. At the bottom of the home screen the new set of Quicknote features helps users quickly start a New Note, snap a photo, create a Reminder, and make a task list.

The amazingly fast markup and annotation functionality of our Skitch app is now part of Evernote for iOS7 to overlay shapes, arrows or text onto any image in your notes. If you're an Evernote Premium user, then you can also mark up any attached PDFs that you have in your account.

The Notebooks section shows a nicely laid out list that combines Personal and Business notebooks with Reminders for any of the notebooks. The more popular tags are darker to easily differentiate and quickly jump to the tag you want. AirDroplets you share things with people near you, and now you can use it to share notes with others. For the first time on iOS, Evernote is able to keep your account updated when the app isn't active. No more waiting!
