Eurotherm goes for Makess ERP from ESS

Eurotherm Del India Ltd., a joint venture

between the Dalal Group and Invansys plc, has decided to implement Makess ERP package from

Eastern Software Systems (ESS). Eurotherm was using Tally software for its financial

operations and in-house developed Access-based software for its sales, purchase, inventory

and customer care functions. The work in production planning was done manually. The

company was looking for an integrated software package that could help it in generating

reports for managerial decision making.

Eurotherm has decided to implement Makess manufacturing

suite in two sites. They plan to implement the finance, fixed assets, costing, payroll,

customer care, care sales, purchase and inventory modules in the first phase. Production,

production planning, equipment maintenance, HR and shares will be implemented in the

second phase.

Eurotherm is into engineering, manufacturing and marketing

of integrated automations products and systems. It also provides services such as

pre-quotation support, project implementation, application, application package

development, system engineering support, field services and commissioning and training. It

has got three business divisions, namely Control and instrumentation, Drives and Gauging

Systems.
