Euclid opens center in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Euclid Inc., provider of business-centric IT management software, has inaugurated its new office in Hyderabad. The 14,500 sq ft product development center, located in Begumpet, can accommodate over 125 people.





Satyam Computer Services chairman, Ramalinga Raju inaugurated the facility. Euclid, which recently raised $4.5 million in January, invested about one million dollars in the new facility. "The investment in our India development center will be used to expand operations and increase the superior talent pool that is working on an enterprise class product. India plays a pivotal role in the growth of Euclid and will be the hub of our product development work," said the president and CEO of Euclid Inc. Patty Azzarello.



"The IT-business communication theme is at the core of our value proposition, and the new product development center will be used to further develop our product around business service management and IT dashboards, as well as expand our sales channel and go-to-market initiatives," she added.





"In India we have about 50 employees, and we plan to bring more talent in product development and product implementation in the next four to six months. Our new facility will offer the best-in-class technologists and engineers a comfortable and state-of-the-art working environment needed for optimum performance," said the director of operations at Euclid India, Manoj Tiwari.

In January 2004, Euclid raised $4.5 million over and above the $8 million financing closed in October 2003, bringing the total of recent funds raised to $12.5 million. Till date, the company has raised $38 million.
