EQFI announces India Education Awards

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Education Quality Foundation of India (EQFI), an organisation committed to raising benchmarks in quality in education, today announced the launch of IEA, India’s largest and the first comprehensive awards in the education sector.

Educomp Solutions Ltd, a globally diversified education solution provider in India, which has made initiatives in the e-education space, is presenting the award.

“It is a pioneering effort to bring focus on educators across the school spectrum who works tirelessly to ensure that future generations are well educated,” said Shantanu Prakash, CEO and managing director of Educomp.

IEA will cover both government as well as private schools. Over 100 awards will be given across broad categories including Teachers’ Awards and School Leaders’ Awards.

IEA will target schools through a broad division into six zones. The nominations for IEA will open in the next few weeks and the first edition of the awards will be held early next year.

“We look forward to this whole process of recognition with a great deal of excitement, which we hope will attract the best entries from all over the country”, Meera Balachandran, director of EQFI said.
