Epson launches high definition projectors

MUMBAI, INDIA: Epson, a provider in digital imaging, today announced the launch of the Epson EH-TW3000 and EH-TW4000, two Full High Definition (HD), 1080p flagship projectors, that are engineered to offer the best possible home cinema experience.

It features an Optical x2.1 zoom capability and an innovative horizontal and vertical lens adjustment function, the EHTW3000 and EH-TW4000 are easy to install, said a press release.

The EHTW3000 features full HD 1080p resolution, full 10 bit video processing and high light output (1,600 ANSI lumens) for day and night viewing.

With Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) processor, the EH-TW4000 features 12 bit video processing and 4-4 pull-down, resulting in picture quality and motion flow, the release added.

The frame interpolation feature also ensures perfectly smooth video playback; blurring is suppressed and motion pictures are much sharper to offer film-like images.

The EH-TW3000 and EH-TW4000 are a distinguished few projectors to be certified by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF), the release said.

This certification is affirmation that end-users would enjoy the highest level of performance with these Epson Full HD projectors, as these projectors can be professionally calibrated to suit any operating environment, without the need for color filters.

These Epson high definition projectors are available from March 2009 and are priced at, Epson EH-TW3000: MRP 1,27,100 and Epson EH-TW4000: MRP 1,92,800, the release added.
