Epson's OmniLink TM-T70II-DT (Device Terminal) combines industry-leading POS printing, a cloud-based services platform, peripheral connectivity and PC computing power - all in one compact footprint. Epson's OmniLink TM-T70II-DT is powerful enough to support a variety of PC POS applications including thin client or Web POS configurations, but small enough to deliver a space-saving design, with all-front access and under the counter mounting option.

Since Epson's OmniLink DT is POS agnostic, it allows retailers to take advantage of fixed, mobile and hybrid POS configurations without expensive upgrades to existing systems. The Epson OmniLink TM-T70II-DT is the second DT version in the company's OmniLink Smart Solutions series, joining Epson's OmniLink TM-T88V-DT launched back in January.

Epson's OmniLink TM-T70II-DT is designed for retailers looking to implement any number of POS configurations to gain the benefits of flexible POS functionality. It includes a retail-hardened PC with Windows POSReady 7, Windows 7 Pro, or Linux operating system options, and is powered by an Intel Atom 1.8GHz processor optimized for stability and performance - all integrated into an ultra-small footprint.

The OmniLink TM-T70II-DT is compliant with established software standards and includes six USB ports for connecting POS peripherals like scanners, keyboards, displays and cash drawers. It also supports mobile POS deployments with the added capability of a built-in web server and Epson's ePOS-print technology for driverless web-based printing.
